You do not need to read the rest of the page—just keep this in mind: Do not go there!

Formikoula (Φορμίκουλα) is a designated Mediterranean monk seal sanctuary, and as of 31/12/2024, a protection zone around the islet restricts access to boats. The zone extends 200 metres from the Posidonia meadows surrounding the islet. Maximum vessel speed within the zone is 4 knots, and anchoring is prohibited everywhere inside it.

Access to the islet and swimming are permitted only in the east cove at 38°33.832′ N, 20°51.270′ E, but anchoring is not allowed—making practical access nearly impossible.

More information about these restrictions can be found here.
